A heraldic eagle is on the reverse field of the 1877-S Pre-33 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coin. This variation of the Great Seal shows an eagle with a shield on its chest, designed by Longacre as well. Identifying marks of the coin frame the design.
Each 1877-S Pre-33 $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coin will arrive inside a PCGS protective slab. These coins have been issued a grade of XF45 from the coin-grading provider.
