Like bars from past Lunar Series editions, the 10 oz Year of the Goat Bar has been minted in .999 pure silver and weighs 10 troy ounces.

Each silver bar is masterfully struck from 10 troy oz of pure .999 fine silver. All bars will be shipped in newly minted condition, encased in a plastic sleeve of protection. Prominently displayed on the front of the bar is this year's designated celebrant, the goat. From the soft texture of its fur to the sharp points of its horns, artists have taken great care to carefully render each detail of this beloved bovine. Seamlessly intertwined with the goat is the year "2015" in large oversized numbers. The phrase "Year of the Goat" appears beneath the mintage year. Also engraved on the lower portion of the front are the "yang" or Chinese symbol for "goat" as well as the bar's weight and purity.
The reverse side of the bar features a repeating pattern for both decorative and practical purposes. This deep grooves of the pattern allow for a better grip on the bar during handling. They also provide more traction when bars are stacked or in storage, consequently ensuring that each piece will stay in its proper place.
