The Indian Gold Eagle coin from the United States Mint was available in the early 20th century and replaced the long-running design from Christian Gobrecht. The Indian Gold Eagle was, in actuality, a design of Liberty wearing a Native American feathered headdress and was featured only sporadically. Right now, Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion with a PCGS or NGC certification.
Coin Highlights:
Each of the Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle Coins in this product listing comes to you with a Mint State 63 certification from the PCGS or NGC. Coins in MS63 condition exhibit slightly impaired mint luster with numerous small contact marks and a few heavy marks. You may also notice small hairlines that may be visible without magnification.
JM Bullion offers these US gold coins in MS63 condition, but cannot guarantee a specific grading house label or the date mark on the coins. Indian Gold Eagle designs were used between 1907 and 1916 annually, and then sporadically between the end of World War I and 1933 when the US halted the production of gold coins. JM Bullion warehouse team members will select your coin at random when your payment processes.
On the obverse of the Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle is the left-profile portrait of Lady Liberty. She wears a feathered headdress upon her head and has 13 stars located above her headdress. There is a date mark below her bust on this side.
The reverse of the $10 Indian Gold Eagle features an American bald eagle standing on a quiver full of arrows wrapped in an olive branch. This side of the coin lacks the national motto for date marks of 1907 and 1908. All coins struck from late 1908 through 1933 have the national motto of “In God We Trust” on this face of the coin. Augustus Saint-Gaudens, designer of Liberty for the $20 Gold Double Eagle, created the artwork for both the obverse and reverse of the Indian Gold Eagles.

"I'm very pleased with the $10 Indian Gold (MS 63). The shipping was very fast and the coin looks great. Thanks JM for another great experience. Greg"
"I wrote a review of the Liberty $10 PCGS MS63 just moments ago. Bought both these coins together. The Indian a 1910, is in the same condition and therefore gets the same review, slight scuff marks, strong luster, a coin worth having."
