Inside that packaging you’ll find the orange assay card that is a hallmark of Valcambi Suisse. On that card is the serial number, assayer’s mark, and identifying features of each 10 Gram Valcambi Gold Bar.
On the obverse of all the bars is the Valcambi mint logo at the top, with a descending order of engravings that feature the weight, metal content, purity, and individual serial number of the bar. You’ll also note the assayer’s mark on this face of the bar.
The reverse side of all bars features the full name of the mint as “Valcambi Suisse.” All 10 Gram Valcambi Gold Bars in this listing feature raised edges, with rounded corners.
Valcambi Suisse was founded in 1961 in Balerna, Switzerland as Valori & Cambi. Following years of early struggles, the company was purchased by Credit Suisse and brought up to London and Comex Good Delivery standards.
