This corporation was created by Israel’s first prime minister to commemorate the milestone and historical events of the country. The corporation became privatized in 2008 but pledged to uphold the character it displayed since the 1950s.
The obverse of all 10 Gram The Holy Land Mint Bars features the iconic design of a dove flying. This dove can be seen with an olive branch in its beak, flying in the night sky, evidenced by the four stars around the bird. Below the dove are the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.
Identifying marks of the bar can be found on the reverse of all The Holy Land Mint Gold Bars. Engravings include the mint, weight, metal fineness, trademark, and a unique serial number featuring 2 letters followed by 6 numbers.
