The Dying Eagle design featured in this release of the Zombucks Series includes a twist on a historic design from James B. Longacre. The former Chief Engraver of the United States Mint created the image of a flying eagle in 1856 that would go on to feature on the US cent that circulated for two years in 1857 and 1858.
