Whereas the reverse of an American Silver Eagle says “1 oz. Fine Silver” and “One Dollar,” the reverse of this product has stamps for its .999 silver purity and one troy ounce weight. Another variation will be noticed to the bottom right side of the eagles talons where there is an absence of the JM mark for John Mercanti, the designer of the original image.
