There’s nothing better than a mint that knows how to play with words, and Suns of Liberty is just such a mint. A private facility that strikes silver rounds as its predominant feature, there’s something different about the rounds from this mint. Today, the 1 oz Suns of Liberty Silver Square is available from JM Bullion.
Round Highlights:
- Ships in an individual plastic flip.
- New product from Suns of Liberty, known as the Sun.
- Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
- Obverse features the mint name and an image of the sun.
- Reverse bears the acronym for the mint and the round’s identifying marks.
- Privately struck by a veteran-owned mint in the United States of America.
You read that right, these silver rounds are actually square products created by the Suns of Liberty Mint. This all-new product from the mint is part of a lineup of silver square rounds that feature only SOLM-branded images and markings. These are an excellent option for any investor looking to dip their toes in the precious metals marketplace.
Each of these 1 oz Suns of Liberty Silver Squares has an extra-high polish shine to the finish and was made in the United States. The general shape of the rounds is square, but the corners have a 45-degree cutoff angle that actually renders them as octagons with four long sides and four extremely short sides on the angles.
Known as the Sun, these silver square rounds feature the image of a sun, completely with radiating waves of heat on the obverse side. The full name of the mint is engraved on this face, along with the year of issue and the phrase “Trust in Yourself.”
The reverse of each 1 oz Suns of Liberty Silver Square includes the image of the number “1” in the center with the sun’s rays emerging from behind the number. Above it you’ll find engravings of the purity and metal content, along with “SOLM.” At the bottom is the weight measurement of “Troy oz.”
Suns of Liberty Mint was founded in the apartment of former US Army Green Beret Dave Breger in 2011. Today, the company occupies a large industrial manufacturing facility in Mount Holly Springs, PA.
