License plates in America got their start in New York in 1901 when they became the first state to require registration plates. However, it was Massachusetts that became the first state to issue these plates just two years later. By 1918, all 48 states were issuing plates to owners. This unique series combines the history and uniqueness of state plates with the security of a silver bar investment. Today, JM Bullion is excited to bring you the 1 oz Colorized Stacking Across America Delaware License Plate Silver Bar for purchase.
Bar Highlights:
Unlike most states, Delaware doesn’t update the design of their license plate very frequently. From 1962 until 2023, they’ve largely kept the design of this plate the same. In 1969 it was updated to a new font. The plate was updated again in 2008 to include a beveled edge. The state of Delaware first started issuing plates in 1909.
Your purchase of a 1 oz Colorized Stacking Across America Delaware License Plate Silver Bar will arrive in an individual capsule for added protection. These bars feature a full-color spectrum thanks in part to UV printing technology. There’s a limited mintage of just 1,000 bars per state.
The obverse of each Stacking Across America Delaware License Plate Silver Bar features the plate design of Delaware. The design features a dark blue background with identifying marks of the bar in gold. The bottom of the bar displays the state name while the top proudly displays “The First State.”
The reverse of the 1 oz Delaware License Plate Silver Bar showcases an American flag rippling in the wind. This image of the American flag is displayed on the reverse of every silver bar in the overarching series. Also shown is the name of the series.
