Augustus Saint-Gaudens is one of Americas greatest coin designers, having created two of the most beautiful coin designs for circulation in the 20th century. Personally commissioned by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1905, his greatest work remains in production at the US Mint today on the official gold bullion coin of the nation. Now, 1 oz SilverTowne Saint-Gaudens Copper Rounds recapture the glory of his Liberty design and are available to you for purchase online from JM Bullion.

    Round Highlights:

    • Rounds arrive in protective plastic flips, tubes of 16 rounds, or boxes of 400 rounds!
    • Replicates the Saint-Gaudens Liberty image!
    • Contains 1 AVDP oz of .999 pure copper.
    • The obverse features Liberty in front-facing relief.
    • On the reverse is a common American bald eagle design.

In 1905, President Theodore Roosevelt reached out to Augustus Saint-Gaudens directly to seek his assistance in producing new images for various denominations of American currency. President Roosevelt was seeking to revamp all American denomination designs to reflect the growing stature and cultural growth of the country.

President Roosevelt sought four designs of Liberty from Saint-Gaudens to help replace designs from US Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, with two of Saint-Gaudens four designs eventually chosen for the US Eagle denominations of gold coins. His beautiful Liberty image featured on the $20 Gold Double Eagle from 1907 to 1933 and was revived in 1986 for the obverse of the American Gold Eagle bullion coin.

The obverse of these 1 oz SilverTowne Saint-Gaudens Copper Rounds replicates the beautiful design. Liberty is shown in front-facing relief as she walks toward the viewer with a torch held up in her right hand and an olive branch in her left hand. Rays of sunshine frame her figure from behind as a ring of 50 stars encircles the design field.

On the reverse of the 1 oz Saint-Gaudens Copper Rounds is an image of an American bald eagle with its back to the viewer as it swoops down. Its talons are reaching out below it and its wings are spread wide. You will find an additional design of the initials USA near a single American star.

These 1 oz SilverTowne Saint-Gaudens Copper Rounds are available to you in brand-new condition from SilverTowne Mint. The rounds are available individually inside of protective plastic flips, while multiples will ship inside of tubes of 16 rounds or boxes of 400 rounds. SilverTowne is one of Americas finest private mints and grew from a small coin shop to become one of the largest precious metals producers.

If your tracking stops updating, please contact us within five (5) business days of the last tracking update so our Claims Department can contact USPS.

If my order includes an item on presale, will the in-stock items ship first?+

Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.

Do you ship to US territories?+

All UPS shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS location. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.

UPS will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.

All orders will ship from our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. We mask our return address on all packages as to not give away the contents of the package.
