This 1 oz Proof Silverbugs Silver Round was minted to celebrate the popular Silverbugs online community on Reddit. Each round has been produced with .999 fine silver and has a proof-like finish. The design located on the Silverbug round was created by the winner of their design contest which was held last year.
On the obverse side of the round is an image of a fairy at the center with the phrase "In Silver We Trust" to her side. Also stamped on the obverse is the year "2014." The reverse side of the round features inscriptions for its weight; "1 Troy Ounce," silver purity; "999 Fine Silver" and the phrase; "For The Silverbug Community."
The Silverbugs round is only being produced in limited quantities (10,000 total) and as such each will contain their own unique number which can be found along the edge of the round.
