The Huoyan dragon, known as the “Fire Dragon” in Chinese mythology, is revered for its association with volcanic activity and destructive flames. This powerful creature is said to have scales that glow like embers and breath that can ignite entire forests. According to legend, the Huoyan dragon’s appearance often coincided with periods of drought, as its fiery nature was believed to consume rainfall and parch the land.
For the obverse of Scottsdale Mint Colorized Silver Huoyan Dragon Bars, you will find a depiction of a flaming dragon coiled throughout the design element.
