However, Una and the Lion is also an 1839 British coin, recognized as one of the most beautiful British coins ever struck. These coins were initially issued to honor the beginning of Queen Victoria’s reign. In Spencer’s epic poem, the lion is mesmerized by Una’s beauty and thus becomes her loyal companion.
Each 2024 1 oz Proof St. Helena Silver Una and The Lion Coin will arrive in a display case, encapsulated in an acrylic capsule. These coins will also come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
