The 1 oz Silverbug Silver Round has been minted in celebration of the online Reddit community whose members are referred to as the “Silverbugs.” This particular round is the 2nd version to be released and features an all new obverse design which has replaced the original “Ariana” design. Each round has been minted in .999 pure silver, weighs 1 troy ounce and has been struck with a proof-like finish.

On the front of this version 2 round, the image of a a futuristic-looking bug is shown at its center. Above it is the phrase “In Silver We Trust” with the name of the community stamped below as “SILVERBUG.”

Located on the reverse is the same image as the version 1 round which features a winged creature with the periodic symbol “Ag” stamped unto its head to denote silver. Directly above this image the weight of the round is stamped as “1 Troy Ounce” with the purity denoted below as “999 Fine Silver.” In larger letters below the purity stamp are inscriptions for the community which reads “FOR THE SILVERBUG COMMUNITY.”
