These silver rounds have been expertly crafted by the Osborne Mint. Each 1 oz Proof Frank Frazetta Legacy Collection Death Dealer Silver Rounds was hand-fed into the coining presses and struck manually as many as five times to create the stunning mirror finish.
Frank Frazetta Legacy Collection rounds were imagined and designed under the watch of Frank’s son, Frank Jr. Italian sculptor Luigi Badia was commissioned to recreate Frazetta’s Death Dealer image for these rounds, bringing them to life in brilliant 3D imagery.
On the obverse side of the round you’ll find the haunting image of the armor-clad Death Dealer on his horse, bearing a shield and a massive axe with blooding dripping from its tip. The reverse side of the round has portrait of a young Frazetta in the lower-left field, with his full name engraved in the upper right, and additional engravings marking the weight, purity, and metal content of the round, as well as his birth and death year.
These 1 oz Proof Frank Frazetta Legacy Collection Death Dealer Silver Rounds arrive encapsulated in plastic, with a Certificate of Authenticity that demarcates the serial number of each of these silver rounds. Those numbers are engraved with edge lettering on the coin and coincide with the number on the CoA.
Osborne Mint is America’s oldest private minting facility, tracing its history back to 1835, and is currently located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
