The Mucha Collection of silver rounds from Anonymous Mint includes a total of six different designs. Known as the Mucha Women, these figures are captured in antique, proof, and colorized finishes across six different round options. Antique rounds are available in 1 and 5 oz weights, as are the proof and colorized proof options.
Each of the 1 oz Proof Colorized Mucha Collection Silver Rounds in this product listing have clear, mirrored backgrounds with real-life colorization added to the design sets. The colorization brings to life the original design concepts of Mucha.
On the obverse of all 1 oz Proof Colorized Mucha Collection Ivy Silver Rounds is the image of a womans portrait in right-profile relief. Known as Ivy, Mucha designed this in 1901 on an artistic poster for the dancer Lygie. In fact, it is said that her image inspired the look of Ivy in the print. Ivy is captured in right-profile relief with ivy intertwined into her hair and a single rose set at the front of her dress.
The reverse of all Mucha Collection Silver Rounds includes a headshot portrait of Mucha taken from a real-life photograph of the Czech artist during the height of his works in the Art Nouveau period, from 1890 to 1910. Engravings include his name, year of birth and death, and the rounds weight, purity, and metal content.
Your 1 oz Proof Colorized Mucha Collection Ivy Silver Round arrives inside of a protective plastic capsule and includes a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. These rounds have edge lettering with their individual serial numbers, which match the COA included with purchase.
All rounds in this collection are from Anonymous Mint, which has the approval of the Mucha Foundation to reproduce his brilliant works through coin creator Julie Lindquist and Italian Master Sculptor Luigi Badia.
