In this JM Bullion listing, you can purchase a 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagle coin from random years of issue with random labels. JM Bullion guarantees each coin will have a PF69 certification from the PCGS or NGC. This certification is for coin with full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws, such as minuscule hairlines or contact marks.
JM Bullion cannot guarantee the year of issue or additional labels included with purchase. The Proof Silver Eagle has been struck in every year since 1986, except 2009. The additional label options include UCAM/DCAM or FS/ER. The former is for proof coins only, which feature strong, frosted designs and deeply-mirrored, clear backgrounds. The latter labels are for coins received within 30 days of their initial release.
On the obverse of all Proof American Silver Eagle coins is Walking Liberty. Created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, this image of Liberty features her depiction as she walks toward the setting sun with the American flag over her shoulders.
The reverse of all 1 oz Proof Silver Eagles bears the heraldic eagle of the United States. First designed in 1794, this is a 1986 modernization of the design completed by John Mercanti. Mint marks are found on this side of Proof Silver Eagles. The Proof American Silver Eagle features either an “S” mint mark (1986-1998), a “P” mint mark (1999-2000), or a “W” mint mark (2001-present).
