Like many teams, Atlanta uses several different iterations of its logo, with this BU silver round featuring the classic logo that includes a tomahawk. The word BRAVES is written in the franchise’s iconic script font above the horizontal tomahawk.
The reverse of the 1 oz MLB Atlanta Braves Silver Round features the Major League Baseball logo. The MLB mark appears as a long horizontal rectangle, divided into two halves by a batter’s silhouette at the center, with a small baseball placed near the bat. Its simple red, white, and blue palette is intended to recall the American flag. Graphic designer Jerry Dior created it in 1968, and it first appeared on uniforms in 1969.
