Chinese Silver Panda coins are produced annually by the Chinese Mint as one of the leading silver bullion coins for investors. Produced in large volumes each year by the mint and its many branch facilities, the Silver Panda features a new image each year on the obverse depicting the unofficial emblem of the nation. Today, 1 oz Chinese Silver Panda Coins in near-perfect condition are available to you online from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
The Chinese Silver Panda coin debuted in 1983 at the Chinese Mint. The coins were issued from 1983 to 1985 as proof specimens only with 27 grams of .900 silver content. After no coin was issued in 1986, the Chinese Mint relaunched the series with 1 Troy oz of .925 silver content in 1987. Once again, the coins were issued as proof specimens in 1987 and 1988. It wasn’t until 1989 that a 1 Troy oz .999 pure silver bullion coin was available in the series.
All of the 1 oz Chinese Silver Panda Coins in this product listing are available to you with a PCGS or NGC certification. A Mint State 69 coin is considered a near-perfect specimen with full, original mint luster and no more than two minor detracting flaws. Those flaws are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and limited in scope to the areas outside of the primary focal points of the coin.
On the obverse side of 1 oz Chinese Silver Panda Coins is a depiction of the Giant Panda. This unique species of bear, with black and white fur patches, is featured on this side of the Chinese Silver Panda coin each year in new relief. Only the 2001 and 2002 coins have the same design.
The reverse face of 1 oz Chinese Silver Panda Coins comes with the same design each year. The exterior facade of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is featured on this side every year. It is the largest building in the Temple of Heaven Complex.
This JM Bullion product listing offers the 1 oz Chinese Silver Panda coin at random. The date mark and design are chosen at random once your payment has been processed. We cannot guarantee the date and design of the coin you receive. If you buy more than one, you may receive several coins with the same date and design.
