The American Gold Eagle Series was introduced by the United States Mint in 1986. The first gold coin issued by the United States in more than 50 years, the Gold Eagle became the official gold bullion coin of the country. The beautiful designs have only been updated once, with the reverse changed in mid-2021. Right now, 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coins from random years are available for purchase online from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
Each 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coin available here comes with a protective plastic flip. In this listing, we offer you the chance to purchase a 1 oz Gold Eagle with a random year of issue. The Gold Eagle has been issued annually since 1986. We do not guarantee a year of issue in advance. If you buy more than one, you may get coins with the same year of issue.
American Gold Eagle coins debuted 53 years after the last gold coins were struck by the US Mint, the 1933 $20 Gold Double Eagle. The modern American Gold Eagle is a 22-karat specimen with 91.67% gold content, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver.
In the obverse design of American Gold Eagle Coins, you will find Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ iconic image of Lady Liberty. Designed in 1907, it originally featured on the obverse of the $20 Gold Double Eagle through 1933.
For the reverse field of 1 oz Gold Eagles, the US Mint features one of two possible designs. From 1986 to mid-2021, the US mint featured Miley Busiek’s depiction of a family of bald eagles in and around the nest. As of mid-2021, the coins now feature Jennie Norris’ image of the head of a bald eagle in left-profile relief.

"Ok. So the package was shipped in good time. The issue was that it was coming via Fed Ex and required signature. Being employed full-time 40 miles away i asked Fed Ex to deliver after 6:00 PM. The agent on the phone assure me no problem. The next 3 attempts were all at 2-3 PM. Also, JM Bullion requires no pick up availability, so the frustration was extreme as Fed Ex refused to deliver after 6 PM and JM Bullion would not allow me to pick up. I did finally get ed Ex to override the shipping rule and managed to pick up my coin, but with this level of frustration I will not be purchasing any more gold from JM Bullion untilntheybupdatebtheir shipping processes."
