The reverse of all ¼ oz American Platinum Eagle coins features the design of an American bald eagle soaring over America. It features an eagle with wings spread wide as it glides over the continent, with the sun rising into the sky in the background.
American Platinum Eagle coins are all struck by the United States Mint’s West Point Mint facility. That location also handles the production of all bullion, proof, and burnished coins from the American Silver Eagle and American Gold Eagle collections.
