Its estimated population is 94,235 people. The city area is 44 square miles, and though the city is technically new, the area itself has a history dating back to the 19th century. The city used to be part of Riverside, California, though the Jurupa Valley area was settled in the 1800s before Riverside began to attract more attention. Economically, Jurupa Valley has room to develop and expand. Major industries in Jurupa Valley are currently a mix of urban business and rural farmland but may change as the city continues to develop.
