Please be aware that these coins ship in the exact condition as we receive them from the Royal Canadian Mint. We do not cherry-pick any coins for grading or purchase any second-hand material, so you can be sure the coins you receive will be in brand new condition and ship in mint-sealed tubes of 25 or monster boxes of 500. Non-mint lot quantities will ship in individual plastic flips.
With its innovative security features and extraordinary elegance, the 2014 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is a stellar example of the Royal Canadian’s Mint’s craftsmanship and design expertise.
Struck from one ounce of .9999 pure silver, the reed-edged coin boasts images that are both iconic and tinged with patriotic reverence. The two sides are married in a sophisticated composition that weaves security enhancements right into the coin’s artistry for a dynamic design that replaces the former bullion finish.
Coin Highlights:
The maple leaf design is textured to reveal a pattern of radial lines that have been struck to achieve a brilliant light-diffracting effect; in short, this coin appears to glow which is one of its most singular highlights. The coin’s purity mark flanks either side of the leaf and the inscriptions “CANADA, 1 OZ ARGENT PUR, FINE SILVER” encircle the leaf design.
The obverse design showcases Queen Elizabeth II in profile and wearing pearls. Its rim reads “ELIZABETH II, 5 DOLLARS, 2014.” The smooth image of the queen was wrought in contrast to the radial-line-filled background, a design feature that complements the reverse side as well. In both cases, the radial finish results in a coin that appears illuminated and altogether stunning.
Aside from its elegant appearance, this coin also embodies state-of-the-art security features adopted by the Royal Canadian Mint. Each coin has a micro-engraved laser mark denoting the mintage year intricately incorporated into the maple leaf design; the mark “14” is only visible, of course, under magnification. The radial lines replace the previous bullion finish of Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins and diminish the possibility of counterfeiting.
The evolved design, its updated security features, and its purity make this coin an extraordinary example of the mint’s continued excellence. For packaging and delivery, individual coins will be shipped in sleeves or tubes. Quantities with intervals of 25 are shipped in sealed tubes. When buying 500 or more coins, a sealed Monster Box of 20 tubes will be shipped.

JM Bullion fully insures all its shipments. Should anything happen while your package is in transit to you, it will be covered by our insurance policy subject to the conditions set forth in this Section 13 of our Terms and Conditions. Please read this section of the Terms and Conditions carefully.
If we determine the package is lost or damaged, we file a claim. We reserve the right to re-ship your items or refund your money at our discretion.
We recommend you refuse any shipment that appears to be damaged or tampered with as the shipping insurance ends once signed for and/or delivered. When refused, the package(s) will return to JM Bullion for inspection. If you have taken possession of a damaged or tampered package, please save all packaging and contact JM Bullion at1-800-276-6508 within 48 hours for further instructions. Failure to notify us of damage or tampering within 48 hours fromsignatureor delivery date may impact our ability to cover your claim.
When you will receive your order depends primarily on three factors
All packages shipped by JM Bullion are covered by insurance subject to certain conditions. In the unlikely event that your order is Lost in Transit, you need to contact us immediately. Lost in Transit is defined for the USPS as tracking not having updated in 5 or more calendar days. For UPS, it is 3 calendar days. You must contact us within 7 days since last tracking for USPS and 3 days since last tracking for UPS. If you do not contact us by these timeframes, insurance will not cover the package.
Once you contact us, we research the shipment with the carrier and begin the claim process. The claims process can take 30 or more days to resolve, and many Lost in Transit shipments end up getting delivered late. If the package is delivered, you must notify us within 24 hours.

Though unlikely, if your order is damaged during transit and/or any items are missing we require you to contact JM Bullion immediately so we can begin the claims process. If you have taken possession of a shipment that is damaged and/or is missing items, you have 2 days (48 hours) from the date of delivery to contact us as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
Orders under $1000 will not require a signature unless that option is selected and paid for at checkout. Orders over $1000 will always require a signature for delivery. Please note, per our Terms and Conditions, once a package shows delivered, our responsibility ends. Please be available and attentive to receive the package when the courier arrives. Due to COVID 19, couriers are not always getting the signature.
Please note that JM Bullion will not be responsible for reimbursements or insurance claims on packages that are successfully delivered as addressed. Our liability and insurance cease the moment the package is signed for or left at the specified delivery address. Any issues or problems with a shipment MUST be reported to JM Bullion within two (2) calendar days of recorded delivery, else JM Bullion may deny any claim.
We only ship to U.S. addresses (including P.O. Boxes and APO addresses). We do not ship to U.S. territories.
Depending on your method of payment, it is possible to have your order shipped to an address other than your billing address. If you pay with paper check, bank wire, ACH, Ethereum, Ripple, or bitcoin, you may have your order shipped wherever you please, with two exceptionsUPS locations and mail forwarding locations. If you pay with a credit/debit card, it depends on your order history. For credit cards, put the order through with your billing address as the shipping address, and then call us to see if we can change it to an alternate. If you pay via PayPal, your order must ship to a PayPal Verified address.
We will notify you by email once your order ships. You can also check the current status by logging in to your account or using ourTrack An Orderpage.
You may choose how your order is shipped during the checkout process. In the last section of the checkout page, 4 Shipping Method, you will see the available shipping options for your order. If your purchase is eligible for free shipping, the pre-selected option will be base shipping, which is either USPS, UPS, or FedEx at our choice. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, you may choose one of the other options for a small fee. Simply click on the circle next to the shipping method you desire, and your order will be shipped via that method.
Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.
We do not ship to US territories. Due to special requirements set by the postal systems, we are unable to ship outside of U.S. states.
All UPS 7 fedEx shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS or FedEx location. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.
UPS or FedEx will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.
All orders will ship from our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. We mask our return address on all packages as to not give away the contents of the package.
No, we do not. The costs in shipping to these places is extremely prohibitive, so we utilize USPS on all shipments.
Yes! When products are shipped via the United States Postal Service, we can ship to a P.O. Box. Please note that insurance on shipments to P.O. Boxes ends as soon as the package shows delivered.
We can ship to such stores including UPS Stores, various mail and packing stores, freight forwarders, etc. However, these are private businesses not owned by UPS, USPS, etc. Therefore, our shipping insurance does not cover missing packages or items sent to these locations if the tracking shows delivered.
Orders are shipped in inconspicuous packaging via either USPS, UPS or FedEx.* All shipments are fully insured. Our shipping policy, which is based on order size, can be viewed here.

I purchased five, and have five more on order. The “milky spot” issue is miner. Only one in my five has it, and barely visible. The new anti-counterfeiting devise, the 3-D proof like finish, the .9999 purity, the outstanding beauty, the five dollar denomanation, and the price, more than make up for it. This is “bullion” you know.

To the people who lowered their ratings in these reviews because their Maples had “spots” or “milkspots”: if you had done your homework you would know that RCM Maples are notorious for having these milkspots, and have been many years.
The white stains (or “milk spots”) result from the planchet (flan) cleaning and preparation process. Some Silver Maple Leaf coins have them (SMLs), some do not.
This is the Mint’s official position: The coins are bullion coins. They are not collector coins. They are sold as one ounce of silver. The Mint knows that there is a problem. The problem has existed since 1988, when the SML coin was first introduced. The Mint says that there is nothing that they can do about the problem.
So, if you want collector coins, do your homework and buy PCGS certified and/or Proof coins – and quit whining.
That said, I personally love the new 2014 Maples, milkspots or not. The security features on the 2014’s is why I buy them. China’s been counterfeiting all kinds of bullion, including US and Canadian coins of various dates, but the security features on the 2014 Maples are at this time beyond counterfeiting capabilites.
As for JM Bullion’s awesome prices and service: I quit buying from anyone else and switched to JM for almost all my bullion purchases (and I have been purchasing PM’s for many years).

Ordered five along with some rounds. Gorgeous coins, would highly recommend as these 2014 coins have been slightly modified on the reverse and the image is outstanding. My coins looked like proofs instead of the standard un-circulated coins offered elsewhere. Will be putting these on my wish list for the next go-round.

Pro: They arrived two days after ordered. Con: Some are a mess. I really wanted to love these coins because they are attractive and low cost. Or rather, they are supposed to be. I opened my mint tube to gawk at them and found that about 16% of them had some pretty serious milk spots all over the reverse and a couple of others had some spotting. A friend told me to stay clear of the Maples this year. Hadn’t a problem with previous years so I wrote off his experience as the blemished coins predicted by the mint’s statistical sampling. I should have been thinking “where there’s smoke, there’s fire”. I shoved them right back in the tube. No more RCM until I do some research to verify they no longer have this problem. At least I still have 1 oz coins of .9999 purity. Or do I? If quality slips too badly then there could be justification for the market to doubt the assay as well. Documentation at the mint doesn’t help me sell them. The quality of manufacture is the assay in the buyer’s eyes.

These coins are amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is bar none (no pun intended). The lines give it a 3D affect, and help keep it from being copied and counterfeited. Another great piece from the Canadian Mint. I know they are a little more than just plain bullion, but in my opinion worth it. Plus, you have the backing of the Canadian government if silver ever fell in value (but help us all if it became that worthless :-)) I did have some milky looking coins like another reviewer said, and I am not sure why that is. It takes some elbow power to try and remove it. Maybe they were coins that had gotten humid or damp? Only a few of the batch I ordered had the milky look, so I am not going to blame the coin or bring down my 5 star rating.
